How we collect, use and protect your personal data.

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Manolis M. Key Services collects and processes personal data when you visit locksmithnicosia.com or contact us, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Cypriot law.

2. What data we collect

  • Contact details that you give us via the contact form, phone, email, WhatsApp or Viber: name, phone number, email and your message.
  • Job details, such as the address we are coming to or your vehicle details (make, model, year), when they are needed for the service.
  • Billing details, when we issue a receipt or invoice.
  • Technical data, such as IP address, device type and browser, which are logged automatically by the server for security and operational purposes.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To respond to your request and carry out the service you asked for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax law (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • For the security and proper functioning of the website (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • For visitor statistics, only if you give your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, and we do not use it for marketing messages without your consent.

4. Who we share data with

Only with providers that help us operate, and only as far as necessary: our website hosting provider, our email provider, the messaging apps you choose to use (WhatsApp, Viber), the Google Maps shown on the contact page, and our accountant or public authorities where required by law. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case the appropriate GDPR safeguards apply, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep contact details for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, for any questions or warranty purposes. Billing details are kept for as long as Cypriot tax law requires. Technical server logs are deleted automatically after a short period.

6. Cookies

The website uses essential cookies to work properly, for example to remember the language you have chosen. The Google Maps on the contact page may set their own cookies. If we add analytics tools, they will only be activated with your consent. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

7. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, to object to processing and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise your rights, write to us at [email protected]; we will reply within one month.

If you believe that the processing infringes the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (www.dataprotection.gov.cy).

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and restricted access.

9. Minors

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14 through the website.

10. Changes to this policy
